PHIL SAVENICK
Phil Savenick spent the first 25 years of his life watching TV, and the next 25 years creating TV.
As a writer-producer, Phil Savenick has created many of television's most highly-regarded compilation documentaries dealing with TV and it's history. He produced CBS's “ 50 Years of Television: A Golden Celebration,” “ ABC's 40th Anniversary,” “ HBO's 20th Anniversary,” and “ The Mary Tyler Moore Show's 20th Anniversary “.
He served as co-producer of “ The Best of Disney,” “ M*A*S*H: Our Finest Hour ”
“ Museum of TV and Radio's Funny Women of Television,” “100 Years of the Hollywood Western; ” and HBO's “ Monty Python Reunion Tribute.” His film clip tributes have also appeared on several Emmy Awards broadcasts, as well as The Oscars, The Grammys, “ Bob Hope's 90th Birthday ”, “ Comic Relief ” and dozens of other specials.
